Next it's time to limb the tree
Next, it’s time to limb the tree. We will remove the branches from the tree, starting from the bottom and working to the top. We will do this safely, by standing on the other side of the tree from the saws, and ensuring that on slopes we always stay uphill from the tree.
When the tree has been limbed, it’s time to decide what to do with the trunk; this can either be chopped and kept for firewood or disposed of. We also provide a tree stump removal service; you can read about this process on our page about tree stump removal.

We also know how difficult tree and stump removal can be to you, which is why we go out of our way to provide a clean and convenient service with minimum mess and disruption.
When removing a tree, we work safely and cleanly. Where possible, the area of land surrounding the tree will be cleared to allow access and minimise damage. We will then make a wedge cut in the tree; this is a notch near the base of the tree which determines which way the tree will fall. We then make a backcut a little higher on the other side of the tree, which will allow the tree to fall.
